As summer comes to an end, we thought we would gather a list of our fav summer spots to visit in Canada.

This list is in no particular order, just some rad spots to relax, or explore!

Banff, Alberta

Easily one of our fav spots to explore.

Banff is tucked within Banff national park and between the Rocky mountains. It is home to the Banff film festival, an internationally known gathering of indie and up & coming films. You might recognize some scenery from around lake Louise, the crystal blue lake surrounded by pine & the mountains.

Whistler, British Columbia

Whistler can be enjoyed any time of the year, not just during the winter on the slopes. This resort town has activities all year round and has many hikes at different difficulty levels for you to do.

In town, there are many different pubs & restaurants to check out. If you can get there in the winter, Whistler has its own pride weekend separate from the Vancouver pride.

Cape Breton, Nova Scotia

Cape Breton Island on the northeastern half of Nova Scotia is a maritime-centric place filled with great views, great places to cruise the roads, and great seafood to keep you coming back.

Okanagan Valley, British Columbia

The Okanagan is THE destination in BC for the summer.

Hundreds if not thousands flock to the valley, and specifically the surrounding lakes to enjoy themselves. The hikes in BC need no explanation for how great they are, and there are plenty of places to check out for all your exploration needs. The nightlife in Kelowna boasts a lot of activity in the summer. And the Okanagan is definitely the best wine country around (except Celista winery which is close too!).

Montreal, Quebec

Montreal is a popular tourist destination for a few reasons, its history, nightlife, festivities, and a plethora of activities! There is so much history packed into this city, plenty of tours to check out. There's always something happening, not just downtown. You could check out La Grande Roue De Montreal - Canada's largest observation wheel. Montreal also boasts a large number of local shows to see, many many local bands to check out!

Toronto, Ontario

The nightlife scene in Toronto is by far one of the best in Canada. This city is set up on lake Ontario. Things to do include checking out Niagara falls, the distillery district tours, the Royal Ontario Museum, many clubs & bars to check out, you name it, this city probably has it!

Whitehorse, Yukon

Whitehorse gives you a small-town setting in a vast open province, it’s the explorer’s perfect dream. It’s a perfect place to dose and check out the aurora borealis. You can find tours for exploring the gold rush side of Yukon’s history, and try your luck gold panning.

Tofino, British Columbia

Tofino is a hot topic destination every year for tourists, it’s set up as an activity hub on Vancouver Island filled with wildlife spotting excursions, hiking, festivities in town, and out, and much more. It’s always a busy place to be in the summer. Tofino is known for being a great surfing destination, having many tours for experiencing the open seas and checking out the marine biodiversity, and enjoying walks or hikes through some of BC’s best remaining old-growth forests around.

Calgary, Alberta

Calgary is Alberta's capital city, buzzing all year round with block parties, rooftop patios, and activities for you to attend. This past summer has been filled with shows, theatre performances, new popup establishments to check out, and tons more.

Newfoundland and Labrador

The east coast has some of the best views in Canada. Checking out any of the maritime provinces is something you should do at least once. Newfoundland and Labrador is a great destination for a road trip. It offers stunning views, great food, and a plethora of activities in and out of town. The east coast can treat you to some of the best seafood around, it was one of Canada's leading industries up until 2015 bringing in 6 billion annually, AND they’re committed to preserving the waters they fish on. Definitely worth checking out.

As mentioned previously these are some of our favourite places to check out.

Canada has many more places than what we listed - But this should give you a good primer to where to head first. Dosing during your vacation can take your trip to a whole new level (no pun intended).

Why not enjoy your next vacation even more and introduce microdosing into your schedule?
